By accessing or using HiveComplete ("the Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, you may not use the Platform. We may update these terms from time to time, and continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
HiveComplete is a software-as-a-service platform for beekeeping associations, mentorship programs, and extension services. The Platform provides hive management, member management, dues collection, mentorship tracking, and research data sharing tools. Organizations subscribe on a monthly basis with pricing based on enabled modules.
You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity under your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use. You must be at least 16 years of age to create an account.
Organization administrators are responsible for managing their organization's members, modules, and billing. The individual who creates an organization account is the initial owner and is responsible for ensuring their organization's use of the Platform complies with these terms and all applicable laws.

You retain ownership of all content you submit to the Platform, including inspection data, treatment records, photos, and notes. By submitting content, you grant HiveComplete a non-exclusive, worldwide license to store, process, and display your content as necessary to provide the service. If you opt in to research data sharing, anonymized data may be used as described in our Data Agreement.
Organization subscriptions are billed monthly via Stripe. You agree to pay all applicable fees. We may change pricing with 30 days' notice. Failure to pay may result in suspension or termination of your organization's account. Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis.
The Platform, including its design, code, and branding, is the property of HiveComplete. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the Platform without prior written consent.
The Platform is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components. Beekeeping decisions should be based on your own expertise and judgment — the Platform is a record-keeping tool, not a substitute for professional advice.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, HiveComplete shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of data, profits, or goodwill. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
You may delete your account at any time through your settings page. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Platform ceases immediately. We will retain your data for a reasonable period to allow you to export it, after which it will be permanently deleted.
These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which HiveComplete operates. Any disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration, except where prohibited by law.
